Stormwater catch basin treatment survey

Help out with research being conducted at OSU! See below for a request from Dr. Sarah Short.

Greetings!
I  and my collaborators, Dr. Risa Pesapane, Dr. Ryan Winston, and Dr. Noha Meghawry at The Ohio State University are researching* control of mosquitoes in storm water catch basins. We need help from mosquito control experts to refine our study design. We are requesting your participation in an informal survey regarding control of larvae in storm water catch basins in your municipality/district. The short survey will not take long to complete.

Study lead contact: Sarah Short (short.343@osu.edu)
Study secondary contact: Noha Meghawry (meghawry.1@osu.edu)

*Description of research project: We propose to: (1) determine species identity of mosquito larvae developing in a subset of catch basins in multiple municipalities in Ohio, (2) screen mosquito larvae for natural microsporidian and gregarine parasites, and (3) test how treatment with the microsporidian parasite Vavraia culicis impacts larval survival alone or in combination with current control methods.
